Security forces neutralise 5 India-backed terrorists in Balochistan's Panjgur: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed five terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan during a high-tempo, intelligence-driven operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was executed as part of a relentless, ongoing counter-terrorism campaign dedicated to eliminating Indian-sponsored proxies and restoring enduring peace in the region.

In addition to neutralizing the five hostile elements, operational teams recovered and destroyed a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on site, followed immediately by sanitization operations to clear any remaining threats in the area.

“Relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision "Azm-e-Istehkam" continues at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended Pakistan’s security forces for killing five terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan during an operation in Panjgur, Balochistan.

In separate statements issued on Tuesday, both leaders praised the determination and courage demonstrated by the security personnel in the ongoing battle against terrorism.

President Zardari said the country’s campaign against terrorist groups operating with assistance from foreign forces would continue until such elements were completely wiped out.

He also appreciated the security forces for their firm and consistent commitment to counterterrorism efforts.

The president stressed that the hostile objectives of anti-Pakistan terrorist groups working under foreign patronage would be defeated at all costs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also hailed the latest success, saying the security forces were making significant gains against terrorism under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam initiative.

He reaffirmed government's commitment to eliminating every form of terrorism from the country and ensuring lasting peace and stability.
