Gold price decreases by Rs1400 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend for the second consecutive day, providing a slight relief to consumers amidst ongoing economic challenges.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, a notable decrease in gold rates was recorded today.

As per the association’s report, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,400, bringing the new rate to Rs355,200.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,201, settling at Rs304,526, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs 1,100 to Rs279,158.

Silver prices also saw a decline. The per tola rate of silver dropped by Rs96, reaching Rs3,935, while 10 grams fell by Rs82, now priced at Rs3,373.

On the international front, gold prices dipped by $14 per ounce, now standing at $3,339.

It is worth noting that just a day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold per tola had decreased by Rs1,100, closing at Rs356,600.

This consistent drop in gold rates is being seen as a welcome sign for both investors and customers planning to buy gold jewellery.
