Six more Adiala Jail employees detained for 'facilitating' PTI founder

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The law enforcement authorities have detained six more staff members of Adiala Jail for allegedly facilitating Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

According to sources, the arrested individuals include a sweeper, two lady wardens, and three personnel responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras. The mobile phones of the detained staff have been confiscated, and further investigation is underway.

The sources discloses that the female staff members were allegedly involved in conveying messages between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi within the jail.

Moreover, the workforce at Adiala Jail has been increased to enhance the effectiveness of the security system.

It should be noted that the prison employees were taken into custody on the basis of the investigation of Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram, Assistant Superintendent Bilal and Nazim Shah.

Since August 14, a total of 16 employees have been questioned in connection with these allegations.
