Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan to celebrate Eid on Saturday as the Shawwal moon could not be sighted across the country on Thursday.
Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad announced that Eidul Fitr would fall on Saturday (April 22) — making Ramadan of 30 days as the Shawwal moon had not been sighted.
Maulana Azad said that the weather was clear in most areas but was cloudy in some areas. He further said that moon-sighting testimonies were not received from any area, therefore, Eidul Fitr would fall on Saturday.
