Pakistan Navy scores massive drug bust worth $130 million in Arabian Sea

Islamabad (Web Desk): During a Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) in the Arabian Sea, Pakistan Navy Ship TABUK, operating in coordination with the Saudi-led CTF-150 under the Combined Maritime Forces, detected a suspicious dhow.

Acting swiftly, the naval team launched a counter-narcotics operation aboard the stateless vessel, successfully confiscating over 2,000 kilograms of methamphetamine (ICE).

The Navy’s Director General of Public Relations reported that the seized drugs carry an estimated regional wholesale value of 130 million US dollars.

This operation marks the third successful narcotics interception by Pakistan Navy ships within the past two months, underscoring their continued vigilance and effectiveness in securing regional maritime routes.
