Islamabad (Staff Report): A spokesperson of the Supreme Court (SC) on Saturday clarified that Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa does not have any social media account.
According to the spokesperson, the CJP Pakistan does not have an account on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site.
The clarification came after reports of a fake social media account being operated in the name of the new CJP.
The spokesperson added that the CJP has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and other relevant departments to take action against the fake accounts.
Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa took oath as the 26th Chief Justice of Pakistan on Friday. He will serve as the CJP for eleven months till his retirement on December 20, 2019.
