PM Shehbaz invites friendly countries to invest in Pakistan

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to friendly countries to invest in Pakistan’s key sectors, including mines and minerals, information technology, and agriculture.

Speaking at the Health, Engineering and Minerals Show in Lahore on Saturday, he assured potential investors of the government's full support and facilitation.

PM Shehbaz highlighted that these sectors hold significant opportunities for profitable investment, backed by recent improvements in the country’s economic landscape.

Referring to the decline in inflation, policy rates, and electricity tariffs, the prime minister emphasized that these developments have helped create a more favourable environment for investment.

He expressed confidence that Pakistan is on the path to economic growth and prosperity, driven by strategic reforms and sectoral development.

PM Shehbaz also underlined the strength of Pakistan's young population, noting that many are gaining modern skills and vocational training to meet the demands of a dynamic economy.

“Allah Almighty has bestowed upon Pakistan very valuable natural resources,” PM Shehbaz said emphasizing the need for joint ventures, particularly in the mining and minerals sector, to fully tap into this potential.
