Karachi (Web Desk): The rate of 24-karat gold for 10 grams also moved higher by Rs5,914, reaching Rs394,663 compared with the earlier price of Rs388,749. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold gained Rs5,423, taking its price to Rs361,787 from Rs356,364.
A similar upward movement was seen in the international bullion market, where gold became $69 more expensive per ounce. Its price rose to $4,378 from the previous level of $4,309.
Silver also became costlier in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver increased by Rs300 per tola, reaching Rs7,169 against Rs6,869 recorded earlier.
For 10 grams, 24-karat silver rose by Rs257 to Rs6,146 from Rs5,889. In the global market, silver prices likewise advanced by $3 per ounce, reaching $66.91 compared with the previous price of $63.91.
