Pakistan targets Kharji Gul Bahadur group camps in border areas of North and South Waziristan: Tarar

Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Gul Bahadur camp in the border belt of North and South Waziristan. He said that during the ceasefire, foreign militants attempted to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan, but security forces responded effectively and pushed the attacks back.

Atta Tarar stated that security operations have killed more than 100 foreign terrorists, and that last night’s airstrikes eliminated an additional 60–70 foreign militants, including elements of their leadership.

The information minister said one civilian and one soldier were martyred and several others were wounded in the attack by foreign militants in North Waziristan. He called all speculation that civilians were deliberately targeted “baseless.”

Atta Tarar made it clear that Pakistan believes in resolving issues through negotiations but reserves the full right to protect the country’s territorial integrity and the lives and property of its people. He warned that militants operating from Afghanistan will not be allowed to live in peace inside Pakistan.
