Karachi (Staff Report/Agencies): The Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) leaders including PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman have arrived at Karachi’s Bagh-e-Jinnah for the second anti-government power show.
Maryam Nawaz reached the Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum and offered fateha before she made her way to the venue of jalsa.
Maryam was accompanied by senior party leaders including party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, Capt (retd) Safdar, former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
In a goodwill gesture, the PML-N vice president was welcomed by the PPP to large panaflexes of her and her father's, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, pictures along the route of her rally.
On Friday, the PDM flexed its political muscle and held its first power show in Gujranwala.
