T20I tri-series: Zimbabwe set 148-run target for Pakistan

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): In the opening match of the T20 Tri-Nation Series being played in Rawalpindi, Zimbabwe set Pakistan a target of 148 runs.

Pakistan's captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and opted to field first. Zimbabwe posted a total of 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Brian Bennett was the top scorer for Zimbabwe, making 49 runs, followed by captain Sikandar Raza with 34 runs. Other notable contributions came from Marumani (30 runs), Brendan Taylor (14 runs), and Ryan Burl (8 runs).

For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz claimed 2 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Salman Mirza, Saeem Ayub, and Abrar Ahmed each took 1 wicket.

The Pakistani squad includes Saeem Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Salman Ali Agha, Usman Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Salman Mirza, Shaheen Afridi, and Abrar Ahmed.
