Instagram tests feature allowing captions for each photo and video in posts

California (Web Desk): Instagram is testing a new feature that allows users to add separate captions for each photo or video in multi-media posts.

According to reports, the feature is currently being tested with a limited number of users. A pop-up message appears in the Instagram composer informing users that they can now add individual captions for each image or video within a single post.

At present, Instagram only allows one shared caption for multi-photo or multi-video posts. The new feature is expected to provide users with more flexibility to describe each item separately, making posts more detailed and informative.

The company says the update aims to improve the overall experience of multi-media posts and give users better control over how they present their content.

Instagram had earlier introduced a feature that allows users to rearrange multi-photo posts after publishing, and experts believe the new caption option will further enhance that functionality.

The feature is currently in limited testing and has not yet been rolled out widely.
