WhatsApp introduces exciting motion photo feature, bringing magic to your photos

Islamabad (Web Desk): WhatsApp has rolled out a fascinating new feature that feels straight out of a magical fantasy, much like something you'd see in a movie like Harry Potter! Meta-owned WhatsApp is now offering users the ability to create "motion photos."

This new functionality is available in the Android beta version of WhatsApp, allowing users to animate still images in a way similar to the iPhone’s "Live Photos" feature.

With this feature, a few seconds before and after the photo is taken are included, and users can even add sound to make the image more dynamic. Essentially, it's like turning a still photo into a mini video where motion is added to static elements.

Using the feature is simple: just open WhatsApp, head to your gallery, and click on the motion icon at the top left to start creating your motion photos.

However, it's important to note that this feature is still in the beta phase and is available to a limited number of users. For now, if you want to send moving images on WhatsApp, you have to rely on third-party apps.

Thanks to this new feature, users will be able to easily create GIFs directly within WhatsApp and share them with friends. While it’s not clear when this feature will be available to all users, it is expected to be launched in the near future.
