California (Web Desk): Instagram is rolling out a new feature trial aimed at enhancing user experience.
Reports indicate that the platform is currently testing clickable links in post captions, but this is limited to a small group of users. At present, Instagram, which is owned by Meta, does not permit clickable links within captions.
This update comes in response to long-standing user requests, as it would allow creators and businesses to drive traffic directly from Instagram to their websites.
During the testing phase, each participant can include up to 10 links per month in their posts.
Meta has confirmed the trial, stating that it is currently available to Meta Verified subscribers. However, the company has not shared when the feature will be launched for all users or if it will remain restricted to verified accounts.
Since its inception, Instagram has not allowed clickable links in captions, making this potential update a significant development for creators, influencers, and brands.
