Khushab (Web Desk) At least 13 people were killed and 9 were injured when after a truck fell into ravine in Punjab’s Khushab district.
According to the rescue sources, the victims, including five women were members of the same family.
They added that ill-fated family was on its way from Bannu to Khushab after doing labour while riding in a truck. The truck plunged into ravine due to failure of brakes.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) hospital Nowshehra immediately.
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has expressed deep grief and sorrow over loss of precious lives in the accident.
She has condoled with bereaved family besides directing concerned authorities to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
