Islamabad (Agencies): The Ministry of Postal Services on Saturday announced that it has opened its rest houses across Pakistan for the general public.
According to a notification issued by the ministry, the decision has been taken in the context of better utilisation of the country's resources and facilitating the masses.
The notification stated that the people will be able to stay in the government rest houses during their visit of recreational places.
“All the rest houses from Karachi to Murree have been revamped on the instructions of Murad Saeed,” the statement added.
The visitors can avail the facility of residence at these rest houses by paying minimum amount of Rs1200 to Rs3000.
The aim of providing this service is to increase the income of the government and reducing the expenses of the people.
The information about the rest houses can be collected through the app of Pakistan Post.
