Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday received separate telephone calls from Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan conveyed his congratulations to Pakistan over the landmark signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was facilitated with Pakistan acting as the mediator.

He praised the development and expressed support for Pakistan’s diplomatic role in the process.
Both sides shared the view that this important step could play a meaningful role in advancing peace, stability, and broader progress across the region and beyond.
In another conversation, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani also congratulated Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar on the signing of the Islamabad MoU between the United States and Iran, where Pakistan served as a witness. He appreciated Pakistan’s constructive engagement and its efforts in helping facilitate understanding between the two parties.

During the conversation, the leaders also extended mutual congratulations on this diplomatic achievement and expressed hope that it would strengthen peace and stability in the region.
They further reaffirmed the traditionally close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, underlining the importance of maintaining regular high-level contact and enhancing bilateral cooperation going forward.
