Washington (Web Desk): US Vice President JD Vance has said that the agreement reached with Iran is entirely in the interest of the United States and has effectively ended Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons and significantly reduced its military strength.
In his statement, the US Vice President said that following the agreement, Iran has refrained from targeting any vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, calling it an important step toward regional stability.
He made it clear that Iran will not receive any financial assistance or funds from the United States under the agreement.
JD Vance added that the objective of the deal is to reduce tensions in the region and limit Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities.
He further stated that Hezbollah must also stop rocket attacks on Israel, while expressing hope that Israel would avoid further strikes on Lebanon in order to maintain peace and stability in the region.
