Gold price decreases by Rs2,245 to Rs359,055 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola saw a decline of Rs2,245 on Wednesday, settling at Rs359,055 compared to Rs361,300 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs1,925, bringing it down to Rs307,831 from its earlier value of Rs309,756.

The price for 10 grams of 22 karat gold also decreased, falling by Rs1,765 to Rs282,188 from Rs283,953.

In contrast to the drop in gold prices, silver rates edged higher. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs22, reaching Rs3,878, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs19 to Rs3,324.

On the international front, gold experienced a decrease of $20, trading at $3,378 compared to the previous rate of $3,398. Meanwhile, silver recorded a slight gain of $0.22, climbing to $37.20.
