Pakistan rejects Indian allegations as 'malicious campaign'

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has categorically rejected claims by India’s home minister to link Islamabad with arrests made in India, calling them part of a “malicious campaign” aimed at shifting focus away from New Delhi’s own internal security challenges.

In response to media queries regarding baseless assertions made by Indian home minister, Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said that such propaganda is yet another demonstration of India's malicious campaign against Pakistan to divert attention from its domestic security challenges and to blame Islamabad for narrow domestic political gains.

He said India is brutally oppressing its minorities and silencing dissent.

“Externally, India is exporting terror and abetting terrorist,” the FO spokesperson said.

The FO spokesman said unfounded Indian insinuations cannot divert international attention away from India's state-sponsored terrorism, targeted assassinations, and subversion in foreign territories.

“Pakistan urges the international community to reject baseless Indian allegations and hold India accountable for its state-sponsored terrorism in the region,” the FO spokesperson said.
