Pakistan, UK reaffirm commitment to boost cooperation in diverse domains 

London (Web Desk): Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening cooperation across various fields including politics, the economy, climate issues, and cultural exchanges.

This mutual understanding was reached during a meeting held in London between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Hamish Falconer, the British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

During their discussions, the two sides conducted a comprehensive review of the bilateral relationship and shared their perspectives on developments in the region and globally. 
Senator Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to economic reforms and outlined the country’s views on fostering peace and stability in South Asia.

He also emphasized the critical need for resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute peacefully and justly, in line with the relevant resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive progress in Pakistan-UK relations and reiterated the importance of maintaining regular dialogue at the highest levels.

They agreed that continuing such engagements is essential to building on the current momentum and identifying new opportunities for strategic collaboration between the two countries.
