Peshawar (Web Desk): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has termed digitisation imperative to ensure good governance in the province.
Addressing the ceremony in Excise and Narcotics Control Department in Peshawar, he said the government is working to digitise all government departments under its e-governance policy, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the launch of online tax system and motor vehicle registration system is an important milestone in this regard.
The KP CM said that the online tax payment system will increase the confidence of the public and also promote the tax culture besides reducing paper work and the administrative costs of the department.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the incumbent provincial government is investing substantially in potential sectors aiming in building their capacity to make the province financially self-sufficient.
Earlier, the KP CM launched online tax system and motor vehicles registration process.
