Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000 on Tuesday, trading at Rs361,300 compared to Rs362,300 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association. (APSGJA)
Similarly, the rate of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs857, bringing the new price to Rs309,756 from its earlier value of Rs310,613.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a decline, decreasing by Rs785 to reach Rs.283,953, down from Rs284,738.
In contrast to the gold market, silver prices recorded an increase. The rate of silver per tola rose by Rs69, reaching Rs3,856, while the price for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs59 to settle at Rs3,304.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold experienced a decline of $16, with the price dropping to $3,398 from $3,414.
On the other hand, silver continued its upward trend globally, gaining $0.69 to be priced at $36.98.
