Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant increase of Rs1,700, reaching Rs303,700 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs301,500 the previous trading day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,458, moving up from Rs258,487 to Rs259,945.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed by Rs1,328, reaching Rs238,283 from Rs236,955.
Meanwhile, both the per tola and 10-gram prices of silver remained steady, trading at Rs3,350 and Rs2,872, respectively.
In the international market, gold prices saw a modest rise of $17, reaching $2,900 per ounce, up from $2,883 while silver also saw an increase, trading at $32.45 per ounce.
