DPM Dar, Turkiye FM discuss regional developments

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday evening, during which the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the region.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO) on Monday, the two ministers also discussed issues of mutual interest and expressed their shared resolve to deepen cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye in diverse areas.

The two foreign ministers agreed that continued dialogue and diplomatic efforts are essential for dealing with regional challenges, while stressing the importance of collective efforts to support peace, stability and security in the region.
