DPM Dar, Turkiye FM Fidan discuss evolving regional situation

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Thursday, during which the two leaders reviewed the latest regional developments and underscored the importance of dialogue, and restraint.

According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, both ministers exchanged perspectives on the evolving situation and expressed optimism that an early consensus among the concerned parties would pave the way for sustainable peace and greater stability across the region.

The discussion also focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

The leaders agreed to stay closely engaged on regional and global matters of common concern and to continue regular high-level contacts aimed at deepening the broad-based partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye.
