Meta launches new ‘Meta One’ subscription service for users

California (Web Desk): Meta has introduced a new subscription service, “Meta One”, for users, bringing together separate subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI under a single platform.

Subscribers to the new service will gain access to a range of advanced AI features and professional tools across Meta’s various applications.

The primary objective behind the launch of Meta One is to bring together more than 50 features currently offered through separate subscription plans, including Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus, for individual users.

The combined number of subscribers to these three services has so far crossed 15 million.

Meta has also introduced Core and Premium plans for individual users, offering AI-powered tools designed to make it easier to create and use images and videos.

The development indicates that free access to Meta’s AI models for generating images and videos could become increasingly limited in the future.

For creators interested in subscribing to the combined package covering all three services, the monthly subscription fee will start at Rs1,750. Users opting for a single service, such as Facebook Plus, will be charged Rs299 per month.
