PM Shehbaz, Bilawal-led PPP delegation discuss prevailing political situation

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, accompanied by a delegation of party leaders, called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday to hold discussions on the country’s overall political situation.

The delegation comprised senior PPP leaders including former National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Sherry Rehman, Nayyar Bukhari, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Syed Ali Qasim Gilani.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while speaking during the meeting, emphasized the importance of the alliance between the two parties, saying that the Pakistan Peoples Party was a trusted partner whose cooperation the government deeply valued.

The PPP representatives commended the prime minister for Pakistan’s active and meaningful contribution to the Gaza Peace Agreement.

Those present on behalf of the government included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, National Food Security Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Public Affairs Minister Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah, and Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan.
