Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has announced opening of Pak-Afghan border at Torkham and Chaman posts round the clock for six days in a week.
The border was closed on March 27 as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of coronavirus.
In April, the Pak-Afghan border was opened for three days.
Both the borders will remain open for 24 hours for six days for the movement of the cargo trucks whereas Saturday which will be reserved for pedestrian move only.
During six days after opening of the border, unlimited number of trucks will be allowed to cross per day while ensuring proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for both Afghan Bilateral Trade and Afghan Transit Trade.
