Urumqi, China (Web Desk): Over the centuries, many pretty incredible marriage proposals are seen across the world but this latest Chinese man did truly out of this world.
A young Chinese man was spotted yesterday at a public square in the city of Urumqi, asking his girlfriend for her hand in marriage in front of a giant 33-ton "meteorite" which he had somehow placed there for the special occasion, and was "unveiled" by his friends at just the right moment.
But unfortunately the story is facing criticism on social media. Web users have pointed out that the proposal was more likely a publicity gimmick for the opening of the marketing center which can be seen in the background. We have a feeling that huge "rock" may not be from outer space after all.
