Islamabad (Web Desk): The government on Tuesday announced a revision in fuel prices, increasing the cost of both petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the upcoming fortnight beginning July 16, 2025.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has gone up by Rs5.36 per litre, setting the new rate at Rs272.15 per litre, compared to the earlier Rs266.79 per litre.
Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs11.37 per litre. The updated price now stands at Rs284.35 per litre, up from the previous rate of Rs272.98 per litre.
As per the statement, these adjustments have been made in line with the recommendations put forward by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and other concerned departments.
