Rawalpindi (Web Desk): At least three terrorists were killed, and one was captured injured during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in the Razmak area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) North Waziristan, the military’s media wing stated on Friday.

"During the operation, intense fire exchange took place between our troops and the Khawarij, resulting in three Khawarij of Fitna al Khawarij being sent to hell, while one was injured," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed Khawarij, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians,” the statement said.

It added that sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.
“Security forces are determined to wipe-out the menace of Khawarij and terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday commended the security forces for launching successful intelligence-based operation against Khawarij terrorists in North Waziristan.

In a statement issued by the President House, President Zardari praised the bravery of the forces for killing 3 terrorists in the operation.

He vowed to continue operations against the Khawarij until the complete elimination of terrorism.
