Another Pakistan Army soldier martyred in LoC firing: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Another soldier of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom due to unprovoked firing by the Indian troops in Buttal Sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, in a tweet on Friday said, “Another brave son of soil laid his life in the line of duty. Sepoy Muhammad Sheeraz embraced shahadat due to Indian firing in Buttal Sector along LoC.”

On Thursday, three soldiers were martyred in firing by Indian forces from across the LOC.

The Pakistani soldiers who lost their lives were identified as Naik Tanveer, Lance Naik Taimoor, and Sepoy Ramazan.

In retaliatory gunfire, Pakistan Army killed five Indian soldiers, injured many and damaged bunkers across the LoC, DG ISPR said.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the LoC.
