Jordan's King Abdullah undertakes state visit to Pakistan from today

Islamabad (Web Desk): King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan will arrive on a two-day state visit to Pakistan, responding to an invitation from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

During his visit, the Jordanian king is scheduled to meet both President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif, engaging in talks that will explore the full spectrum of relations between the two countries.

As part of the visit, a special investiture ceremony will be held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where His Majesty will be honored with Pakistan’s highest civilian award.

This high-profile visit highlights the deep-rooted friendship and longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Jordan.

Officials say it is expected to reinforce the strategic partnership and expand cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains, taking bilateral relations to a new level.
