Bilawal says Pakistan Armed Forces are country’s 'red line', urges responsible politics in Kashmir 

Muzaffarabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the Pakistan Armed Forces are a "red line" and that no criticism or disrespect against them will be tolerated.

Addressing the party ticket holders and workers, Bilawal praised the role of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal in efforts to maintain peace, saying his contribution is evident to everyone.

He stressed that any offensive remarks directed at the people of Kashmir deeply hurt Pakistanis, adding that both Kashmiris and citizens across Pakistan are concerned about the current situation in the region.

Bilawal remarked that if Kashmiris suffer, Pakistanis feel their pain equally, saying, “If the sweat of Kashmiris falls, our blood will be shed.” He urged political leaders in both Pakistan and Kashmir, as well as protesters, to act with responsibility and choose their words carefully during these sensitive circumstances.

Bilawal also made it clear that violent protests and demonstrations cannot be allowed under any circumstances.

He said he would never want the politics of terrorism to gain ground in Kashmir, drawing a comparison with the style of politics once associated with the founder of MQM in Karachi, which he said should never be repeated in the region.

The PPP chairman reiterated his desire for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue, emphasizing that no individual or group can ever bring the state to its knees.

He expressed support for resolving the concerns of the people within Azad Jammu and Kashmir and proposed the formation of an independent commission with full authority to investigate recent developments.

He also called on all political parties to play a constructive role while urging law enforcement agencies to conduct investigations strictly in accordance with the law.

Bilawal said that he has consistently raised the Kashmir cause and the voice of the Kashmiri people on every platform.

He maintained that only the people of Kashmir have the right to determine their future, adding that constitutional amendments cannot be imposed through sit-ins or the use of force.
