Gold price decreases by Rs700 to Rs359,000 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices experienced a decline on Tuesday, with the cost of 24 karat gold dropping by Rs700 per tola, now standing at Rs359,000 compared to the previous trading rate of Rs359,700, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a decrease of Rs600, settling at Rs307,784, down from Rs308,384.

Meanwhile, the value of 10 grams of 22 karat gold slipped by Rs550, now priced at Rs282,145 from its earlier rate of Rs282,695.

In the silver market, prices also moved downward. A reduction of Rs73 brought the per tola rate to Rs4,014, while a Rs62 decrease in the rate for 10 grams pushed it down to Rs3,441.

Internationally, the price of gold also edged lower, falling by $7 to reach $3,365 from a previous level of $3,372. Silver followed suit, declining by $0.73 to trade at $38.30, down from $39.03.
