Govt hikes petrol price by Rs4.42, diesel by Rs6.10 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products and issued a notification in this regard.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been raised by 4.42 per litre, taking its new price to Rs380.24 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs6.10 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs409.42 per litre.

The revised rates will remain applicable for Tuesday, September 15, as the government continues to review domestic fuel prices in response to movements in international oil markets and other related cost pressures.
