NA-256 Khuzdar by-election scheduled for April 5: ECP

Islamabad (Web Desk): The ECP said a public notice for the by-election will be issued on February 18, while nomination papers can be submitted from February 20 to 24.

The list of nominated candidates will be displayed on February 25, with scrutiny of the papers scheduled to be completed by March 4. Candidates can file appeals against acceptance or rejection of nominations by March 9, with decisions to be announced on March 16, along with the revised list of candidates.

The last date to withdraw nominations is March 17, and electoral symbols will be allotted on March 18, the commission added.

The ECP called on all candidates and stakeholders to comply with the schedule to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.
