Quetta (Web Desk): A pregnant woman and her child died on Friday in the district headquarters hospital of Dera Bugti as none of the lady doctors were available to treat the maternal case, the sources reported.
As per details, the woman, wife of Saddam Bugti, residents of Kohu street, was brought to the DHQ hospital of Dera Bugti in a serious maternal condition but passed away due to the lack of treatment.
None of the lady doctor or staff was present to handle the maternal case and the woman and her unborn child died.
It is pertinent to remember that this is the second case in 25 days where a pregnant woman died due to unavailability of lady doctors.
