Lahore (Web Desk): Former speaker of the Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal and senior politician Mansha Ullah Butt took oath as provincial minister in Lahore on Monday.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers.
The event was attended by Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan along with other senior officials and dignitaries.
Meanwhile, former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Anusha Rahman has been designated as the Senior Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Her appointment is viewed as a step toward adding more technical expertise and depth to the chief minister’s advisory team.
The recent cabinet expansion and advisory appointment are seen as part of the Punjab government’s broader political and administrative strategy to make governance more efficient, coordinated, and result-oriented.
