CM Gandapur is a temporary figure, brought in via form 47: JUI-F

Peshawar (Web Desk): The spokesperson for Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abdul Jalil Jan, has criticized Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, stating that he assumed office through an "untransparent electoral process" and is merely a "product of Form 47." He claimed that even Gandapur himself has admitted that his tenure is only temporary.

Speaking to the media, Abdul Jalil Jan strongly condemned the chief minister’s visit to Lahore, calling it inappropriate and insensitive. “At a time when the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in conflict-prone areas like Bajaur, remains alarming, the CM’s leisure trips outside the province show a clear disconnect with the people’s suffering,” he said.

The spokesperson further alleged that the provincial government is mired in corruption and incompetence, and accused it of wasting public funds on political tourism and irrelevant activities. He stressed that such misuse of taxpayer money must be held accountable.

Citing a recent statement by PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai, Abdul Jalil Jan claimed it confirms that the current administration does not represent the genuine public mandate. He added that JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman's recent statements have further exposed the “false narratives” of the provincial leadership.

He urged the chief minister to abandon showmanship and political rhetoric and instead focus on restoring law and order in the province. “With violence and bloodshed increasing daily, the CM’s priorities seem completely misplaced,” he added.

According to Jan, Ali Amin Gandapur appears more committed to damaging his own party than to governing the province effectively — and his leadership style is clear proof of that.
