PFF starts process to appoint new women's national team head coach

Lahore (Web Desk) : The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has initiated the process of appointing a new head coach for the national women’s football team. This decision comes as part of PFF's commitment to improving the team’s performance to meet international standards.

PFF has outlined clear criteria and requirements for the new head coach, ensuring that the selected candidate is capable of enhancing the team’s capabilities on the global stage. For the position of Women’s Head Coach, candidates are required to hold a ‘A’ License from FIFA and AFC. Additionally, applicants must have proven coaching experience at the national or elite level to provide professional training and foster the overall development of the players.

According to PFF, the new head coach must also possess expertise in high-performance coaching and have experience in player development, which will be essential for successfully implementing the team’s long-term goals. Applications for the position of Women’s Head Coach can be submitted by December 22.

The Federation emphasized that candidates will be selected based on rigorous criteria and experience, and the selected coach will be responsible for preparing the team for success in both international and Asian competitions.

This move by PFF is seen as a significant step toward promoting women's football in Pakistan and enhancing the country's reputation on the global footballing map.
