PSL 10: Lahore Qalandars set 220-Run target for Quetta Gladiators

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): In the fourth match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Lahore Qalandars posted a massive target of 220 runs for Quetta Gladiators.

The match, being held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, saw Quetta winning the toss and opting to bowl first.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 219 runs for 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman led the charge with a brilliant 67-run knock, smashing 7 fours and 3 sixes.

Sam Billings remained not out with a rapid 50 off just 19 balls, hitting 4 sixes and 4 boundaries. Contributions also came from Abdullah Shafique and Daryl Mitchell, both scoring 37 runs each. Mohammad Naeem and Sikandar Raza added 10 and 6 runs respectively.

From the bowling side, Akeal Hosein and Abrar Ahmed took 2 wickets each, while Faheem Ashraf and Usman Tariq claimed one wicket apiece.

It is worth noting that Lahore Qalandars lost their opening match to defending champions Islamabad United by 8 wickets. On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators started their campaign with a commanding 80-run victory over Peshawar Zalmi.
