US confirms no troops in Gaza, plans for international forces near Palestinian territories

Washington  (Web Desk): A senior Pentagon official has confirmed that the United States will not deploy any military forces in the Gaza Strip.

The official acknowledged that international forces are being planned for deployment near Palestinian territories, but emphasized that U.S. troops will not enter Gaza.

The Pentagon spokesperson dismissed reports circulating in Israeli media, which claimed that the U.S. was planning to establish a military base near Gaza's border.

While refuting these claims, the official hinted that the U.S. and its international military allies are considering the deployment of multinational forces near Gaza, possibly under the International Stabilization Force. These forces would support the U.S. president's peace plan for Gaza.

The official made it clear that "no American soldier will be deployed in Gaza," calling any contrary reports inaccurate. Earlier reports in Israeli media suggested that the U.S. was planning to set up a $500 million military base near Gaza, capable of housing thousands of American troops.
