Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The two-week-long Joint Counter-Terrorism Exercise Jalmood-I involving the Pakistan Army and the Unite Arab Emirates UAE Presidential Guard concluded successfully at Tarbela.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise was designed to boost the participating forces' operational proficiency in hostage rescue and counter-terrorism scenarios, while also reinforcing defense collaboration between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The statement added that the training centered on hostage rescue operations and featured troops from the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) working alongside the UAE Presidential Guard.
The General Officer Commanding SSG attended the closing ceremony as Chief Guest, along with senior UAE military officials and diplomats, the ISPR said.
