PM Shehbaz visits late Prof Sajid Mir’s family in Sialkot for condolence

Sialkot (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday visited the residence of late Ameer Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Senator Professor Sajid Mir and expressed deep sorrow over his passing.

Expressing profound grief over the senator’s demise, the premier described him as a visionary political leader and an esteemed religious scholar whose death leaves a deep void in the national political fabric.

Offering prayers for the departed soul, PM Shehbaz wished strength and patience for the bereaved family in their time of loss.

He noted that Professor Sajid Mir had been a steadfast voice against extremism and sectarianism, a stance that remains a hallmark of his distinguished contributions to the country’s political and religious discourse.
