In first official message, Iran's new supreme leader vows to avenge martyrs, keep Strait of Hormuz closed

Tehran (Web Desk): Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, delivered his first formal address, issuing a firm warning to the international community and rival powers.

He stated that Iran’s territorial integrity will not be compromised, and stressed that the Strait of Hormuz must remain closed to increase pressure on adversaries.

Khamenei emphasized that Iran will never relinquish the rights of its martyrs, particularly in memory of Ali Khamenei and the innocent children killed in Minab school attacks.

He described targeting U.S. military bases in neighboring countries as a “matter of necessity” and warned that if these bases are not removed, Iranian strikes will continue.

He clarified that Iran’s military actions will be aimed solely at facilities used against the Iranian people.

Praising the Iranian public, Khamenei said his position holds no value without the support of the people. He urged citizens to counter foreign attempts to divide the country and prevent civil strife.

He also vowed to seek guidance from the Quran in his decisions and prayed to Allah for the nation’s proper direction.

During his speech, Khamenei issued a stark warning that if war is imposed or continues, Iran will activate covert fronts that adversaries have never encountered before.

While affirming Iran’s desire for friendly relations with neighboring countries, he made it clear that the presence of foreign military forces on their soil will not be tolerated.
