Islamabad (Staff Report): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday hailed the people of Pakistan for raising Rs 10 billion for the Dams' fund.
The prime minister in a tweet said, "I would like to pay tribute to the generosity of the people of Pakistan for raising Rs 10 billion for the Dams' Fund."

The account of the dam fund, under the name of the Supreme Court (SC) and Prime Minister of Pakistan, currently shows a total contribution of Rs10,007,099,978.
The Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand dam fund 2018 was established by the federal government in pursuance of a Supreme Court order for raising funds for the construction of the two dams.
Former chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar had initiated the campaign for donations by announcing Rs1 million in the dam fund during the hearing of a case regarding construction of Kalabagh dam.
