Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump stated that during his recent meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he emphasized that negotiating a deal with Iran is his top priority.
Speaking on Truth Social, Trump noted that several of Netanyahu’s representatives were present during the meeting and described the discussions as positive.
Trump said he urged Netanyahu to continue pursuing negotiations with Iran and highlighted the importance of securing a potential deal. He emphasized that this time, the focus should be on whether a deal can actually be reached.
The President added that if negotiations fail, he would review the outcomes, recalling that the last time Iran chose not to finalize a deal, it faced the “Midnight Hammer” bombing—an operation he implied had significant consequences for Iran.
Trump expressed hope that Iran’s approach would be more responsible and reasonable this time. Additionally, he mentioned that he discussed the recent developments in Gaza with the Israeli Prime Minister during the meeting.
