 8 Pakistani mechanics shot dead in Iran's Sistan Balochestan

Tehran (Web Desk):In a tragic incident in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, eight Pakistani car mechanics lost their lives.

According to Iranian media, the incident occurred at a workshop near the Afghan border in the Mehristan area, where unidentified armed men opened fire. During the attack, the assailants first tied up the victims and then shot them.

Diplomatic sources confirmed that the deceased were working as car mechanics in Mehristan. The victims were reportedly from the Punjab province of Pakistan. Initial reports state that five of the deceased have been identified: Jafar, Danish, Nasir, Dilshad (the workshop owner), and his son Naeem.

Iranian authorities are currently investigating the incident, while Pakistani diplomatic sources have confirmed that arrangements are being made to repatriate the bodies after the completion of legal formalities.
